Sir Chris...I added a photo...I would love to learn jiujitsu, but will have to wait after my vaca. I am headed off to Budapest, Dalmatian Coast in Croatia and Rome for two weeks.

Ok chris , I´ll write for one site call´s www.sultatame.com.br, that´s the most important site in south Brazil, I´ll talk about pilates for improve the jiu jitsu treinament and also will talk about power plate , do you know how nice that machine is ? I´ll send to you a lot´s of picture from those kind off exercise ok? My surfing time are getting bigger and important, later I´ll talk more about that! So did you like the news?

Thanks so much for the quick comment. I started getting serious about working out only about 3-4 weeks ago. Over the years I have been active but on an on and off basis. What do you suggest is best when wanting to get a good start on things again?

body fat can be reduced by increasing muscle mass because the muscle will increase your resting metabolism. this means that you will burn more energy when you are sitting around doing nothing, because you need to feed the new muscle. you also can create a calorie deficet meaning take in less energy than you are burning so get moving and watch your calories, eat according to the goal you have. if you want to lose body fat first make an assesment of how you should do it. do you need some muscle first ?? the answer is usually yes so strength train three times a week to begin and get some cardio in everyday.

everything matters!! it all depends on your goal. you should start with light weight and high repitions to learn your form. the movement pattern in the exercise that is your form. 20 reps is good to start with for two sets. your tempo should be slow a 4 2 2 count meaning come down slow for a 4 count hold for 2 count and contract for two thats one rep and repeat this 20 times thats one set rest for 30 seconds and go again for two sets.

We all need help now, I need to shape up before the summer but cant really work out so what are some firm up lower body work outs? IT looks like in fl . all we do is drive so we need some training in Get that BUTT moving!
